Students from Medical Universities were found to be more sexually active in comparison to students from other disciplines, study says.
A survey conducted by newspaper Varsity included more than 1000 students at Cambridge University, uncovered that medical students had an average eight partners in their lives so far.
Theology students were the least sexually active with an average two sexual partners.
Political science students were found to have seven sexual partners on average, while those dealing with history had six partners. Students studying languages claimed about five partners on average.
The survey also revealed that more than 60 percent of students never checked for sexually transmitted diseases, while 40 percent admitted to having a one night-stand. As much as 25 percent uncovered that they had tried BDSM activities.
Mark Fletcher, student union president said that he was not surprised at the results as "doctors and nurses" is still quite popular game.
