South Korea's Police to Decide Whether Pimping Sex Dolls is Prostitution

South Korea's police are having quite an interesting problem now. They have to decide whether giving in rent love dolls breaks the country's law prohibiting prostitution.
The matter is that after the Special Law on prostitution was passed in 2004 some motels began offering to their clients especial "doll experience rooms".
This implies that any customer can rent a room with a bed, a computer and an inflatable sex doll paying 25,000 won per hour.
The anti-prostitution law having come into effect deprived motels of a huge part of their profit. As well it deprived the motel's clients of possibility to satisfy their need for sex through using prostitutes' services.
Thus appearance of new business seems quite natural in this situation. Though inflatable sex dolls are not as good as real women, still they can replace woman's body and give a man sexual satisfaction.
However, the problem remains. Men who rent "doll experience rooms" still pay for sex, though the latter is prohibited. On the other hand inflatable dolls are not human beings, thus renting of pneumatic hussies cannot be considered prostitution.
Most men using services of new business are absolutely sure that love dolls renting has nothing to do with the Special Law on Prostitution. This law being applied in this situation will completely deprive motel customer's of possibility to get full satisfaction from living in the motel.
Here is a question - why don't Korean motels offer similar services to women? Most likely women as well as men will be glad to rent a room with such additional pleasure as a sex toy - a dildo, a vibrator or even an inflatable male love doll.
Perhaps motels should start such business. However, in this case police again will have to decide - does pimping dildos and other sex toys for women break the anti-prostitution law?
This amazing piece of news reminds of events that took place in Russia in August 2006
Disqualification for "Sexual abuse of apparatus"

A sportsmen can be disqualified for plenty of shameful things such as doping or breach of rules. But can a participant in rafting be disqualified for "sexual abuse of apparatus"?
It turns out that he can, if this is the Annual Sex Dolls rafting that took place in August near St Petersburg (Russia).
The event is held annually on the Vouksa river and is sponsored by some Russian sex shops.
This year the Annual Sex Dolls Rafting involved 400 sportsmen and implied tackling 1,200 metre course. The most amazing thing that the course was to be tackled with an inflatable sex doll and nothing else.
According to the event's organizer Dmirtiy Bulavinov, swimming in the stormy river with such an exotic thing as sex doll is a very difficult matter. Inflatable women slip out of the athlete's hands.
Don't you believe that? Than try yourself to cross a stormy river with a love doll! We do not know whether you will manage to do this, but only one of the Sex Doll Rafting participants managed to come to finish. This was 40 year Igor Osipov. The man was about to be announced the winner of the contest, however he was disqualified. What for?
The fact is that jury noticed the athlet's strange position and told him to go to the shore. When Osipov came out of the water the viewers saw the signs of sexual activity on the Osipov's love doll. The athlete was disqualified as he was accused of "sexual abuse of apparatus.
The organizers explained their decision this way - the rules of the contest implied only swimming with inflatable dolls without any other kind of activities.
It remained unknown whether Igor Osipov agreed with jury, however it seems he should not have been despaired. He was not announced the winner and he didn't get the prize. But at least he took great pleasure from the contest!
This event should have suited the sponsors of the Annual Sex Dolls Rafting well. It seems that the love doll was of such great quality that the athlete could not help using it as it is usually used!
